I am Brandon Pflaum
a family member of someone living with ALS
My name is Brandon Pflaum. I live on Long Island and am 38 years old. My father, Steven, is 70 and has lived with ALS for the last 7 years. I attached a picture from a few years back of him and my son. My dad has grown up watching the Mets, and been a huge baseball fan his entire life. His ALS has been a struggle but he takes it all in stride and is the greatest person I know. Unfortunately the disease has accelerated over the last few months and he only has minimal use of 1 of his hands at this point and we can read the writing on the walls for what is next. I have been trying to do as many fun things with him as possible and I thought going to one last baseball game with Him and my Son would be great.
