I want to stand by him and others to fight this disease and work toward building the first generation of survivors.
One of my childhood friends was recently diagnosed with ALS. This is someone I explored the woods with, went boating with, and made movies with. This is someone who played football, wrestled, and sang with the most velvety voice. My brave friend shared his diagnosis with the world and has since been sharing his journey and experiences in building strength, seeking treatment, and fighting toward an ALS-free future. I want to stand by him and others to fight this disease and work toward building the first generation of survivors.
