I am Kevin Martin

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS

Massachusetts

When he died, afraid I would forget him, I sat down and started writing stories about my dad. Before I knew it, I had 35,000 words.

I know all too well the agony of living with a family member who has ALS. In 2019, my dad died of ALS. When he died, afraid I would forget him, I sat down and started writing stories about my dad. Before I knew it, I had 35,000 words.

My wife encouraged me to find an agent, who found me an editor and he asked a lot of questions prompting me to get that up to 50,000 words and he helped me organize it into a book. I am excited to say that my book was released on June 20th and is for sale now on the IAmALS website. I decided to donate 100% of the profits to ALS research and care charities to help #EndALS.

I know how important it is for families and for those living with this horrible disease to find a cure. My hope is to see that in our lifetime!
