I’m entering my sixth year of survival, I was diagnosed in April 2018.

Hindsight, I’ve probably had symptoms since 2008-2010. However, I didn’t identify a problem until 2017 while working my shift as an RN.

I stepped away from bedside nursing in 2019 and then retired early 2021.

I loved being a union nurse, a union journeyman wireman… this disease takes away so much, so quickly. I consider myself fortunate to still be able to walk, although with assistance, I can feed myself and eat anything I want, and I can speak unimpeded.

These are things that become important and monumental each and every time I attempt daily activities.
Cheers, Bobby
