In the face of this cruel disease he fights hard EVERY DAY to enjoy what he has left instead of dwelling on what’s been lost.
This is my father with my daughter, doing what my father did best. Teach us to be hard working. Not be afraid to get our hands dirty. My whole life, before sunrise to after sunset, he was always working. Whether it was a paid job, a side job or a project around the house. He never stopped, until ALS stopped him! Someone that could run circles around any of us 2-1/2 years ago, now in need of 24/7 care. Wheelchair bound and 80% dependent on a bipap machine to breathe, he handles it with grace and dignity. In the face of this cruel disease he fights hard EVERY DAY to enjoy what he has left instead of dwelling on what’s been lost. He is our hero! And for him, we too will continue to fight!!
