Now I am a single mom of 3 crazy fatherless boys all because ALS took the person I loved most in this world.
I am a 33-year-old widow of ALS with 3 boys, 6, 4 and 2. My husband died of ALS last May. He was diagnosed on Oct. 15 and died on May 1st.
The day his Medicaid finally kicked it. It is difficult to care for an ALS spouse and small children. My son was 7 months old when my husband, Tyson was diagnosed. On top of that, we weren’t able to get in-home help because we had to wait 6 months.
It didn’t matter cause all he got was 6 months anyways. Now I am a single mom of 3 crazy fatherless boys all because ALS took the person I loved most in this world. It is hard to go anywhere feeling completely outnumbered and overwhelming all alone.
