I am Adam Greyeyes

a family member of someone we've lost to ALS,
someone who cared for a person we've lost to ALS

Texas

It was hard to see her go through it.

Hi my name is Adam Greyeyes and I’m 37 years old and I just wanna tell everyone my story about living with someone who has ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). When I was 18 my mom was diagnosed with ALS Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The disease itself was very hard for my family to see my mom go through — 3 years later my mom died from it. When my mom had to eat, I had to help her eat and I had to help her use the bathroom as well it was hard to see her go through it. I just want people to know what it’s like to be a caregiver to one of their family members who might have the disease.
