You read that right: I AM ALS is returning to Times Square for another big awareness moment. Five amazing caregivers from ALS and other neurodegenerative disease families sat down with Chris Burke, the filmmaker behind For Love and Life: No Ordinary Campaign, to capture their experiences. Their features will be displayed on four billboards in Times Square, New York for a two-week period of November 25th – December 8th, along with full vignettes on our website Here’s how you can participate! 1) Can you be in NYC? Meet up with us this Monday, Nov. 25th! I AM ALS representatives and volunteers will meet at the site of the billboards around 3pm. We’ll take photos together, watch through the billboard cycle, and enjoy one another’s company on a beautiful NYC day. |
2) Participate from home! Print one of these signs that people will be holding on site, fill it out, and take a photo of you holding it up. Post it with the hashtag #CallingAllCaregivers. Be sure to like and share social media posts you see from the event and any posts with the hashtag #CallingAllCaregivers. Here’s the meetup info at a glance: When: Monday, November 25, at 3pm We hope to see you there in person and online! You can still participate in our #CallingAllCaregivers campaign by giving to support I AM ALS’ mission, sharing your caregiver story, and adding a Kudos for your caregiver. With hope, |
