Bring BWayne and Adam to the Stadium!
Lou Gehrig Day would not be happening if not for Bryan Wayne (BWayne) Galentine and Adam Wilson. They saw an opportunity to raise awareness amongst millions nationally by partnering with MLB to create an annual Lou Gehrig Day. They took that idea and mobilized a group of advocates who in turn mobilized baseball players, hall of famers, every MLB team and ultimately MLB to create this incredible day!
We sadly lost BWayne to ALS in 2020. He never got to attend a Lou Gehrig Day. To honor his legacy, remind us of his advocacy, and show him some love, we bring BWayne to each stadium and Lou Gehrig Day event across the country each year.
We lost Adam to ALS in January 0f 2024 and wanted to do the same for him, to honor his legacy and show him love.
Can’t make it to a ballpark? Invite BWayne and Adam into your home and watch the game with them.
Whether you are under the sun’s rays or under your own roof, here’s how you can participate:
Step 1: Print out the pictures of BWayne and Adam on the next page
Step 2: Glue or tape them to a piece of cardboard
Step 3: Glue or tape them to a popsicle stick, pencil, etc.
Step 4: Bring BWayne and Adam to the stadium with you on June 2nd and/or 3rd!!
