The day I was told I had ALS I first cried, and then looked at what was next. I served 21 years in the Army and 15 years in Government service, but this is my biggest challenge in my life.
I noticed my first symptoms in April 2021 and was officially diagnosed with Bulbar ALS in May 2022. Since then I became a child of God, started my ALS Journey blog and became an ALS advocate sharing my story with everyone I meet until everyone knows what ALS is.
I am blessed to have the full support of my wife Laura and our four children Gabriel, Corina, Chantelle and Dominique who are my caregivers making this journey easier every day.
My body may be dying, but I am LIVING with ALS.
Love and Blessings
