Erin Alred, MPA (She/Her)

Erin Alred, MPA, serves as the Chief of Staff at I AM ALS. She brings to the role 15 years of experience in nonprofit administration, people operations, and resource development, with an emphasis on building healthy organizations and teams. Erin completed her Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, knowing that the challenges nonprofits face today need to be met by leaders who have deep expertise and resources in the field.

Erin is driven by a desire to strengthen organizations that are confronting systemic problems in our world, particularly when they’re working alongside and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. When she found out that I AM ALS’ purpose is to center, first and foremost, the voices, experiences, and expertise of people living with ALS, she knew this was a movement she wanted to join and help amplify. She believes that today’s communities can only flourish when systems of oppression and exclusion are dismantled and replaced with systems that center equity and justice.
