I was diagnosed with ALS in May of 2018, at the age of 38.

I played soccer in college but married into a baseball family. My father-in-law played professional baseball & my husband played through college (and he still plays in recreational leagues).

We moved to Houston in 2007 & immediately became Astros fans. I love attending games, but am also happy to watch them on tv. I was diagnosed with ALS in May of 2018, at the age of 38. I feel blessed to be in Houston for my ALS care. I’ve been in a handful of clinical trials. We love our community and our Astros. Go ‘Stros!
