This fundraiser is in honor of my brave soldier Michael in his first heavenly birthday month. Michael was just diagnosed with ALS on 10/5/2021 and it progressed at lightning speed. He finished the race strong on 4/1/2022. Michael was always looking out for others and I will continue that legacy through advocating for more research on ALS to fight to end this horrible disease! – Kris Acker
