I grew up an athlete and was playing softball when I noticed my first ALS symptoms. In July 2017 I had the honor of throwing out the first pitch on ALS awareness night in Arlington, TX at the Rangers vs RedSox game. Though the experience in itself was once in a lifetime, the outpouring of support and new connections with other people living with ALS confirmed my purpose in this world.
